Then register for an event.

If you do not have an account yet, up a Volunteer Central Account:

  1. Review the Volunteer Requirements, click here.
  2. Fill out online account application form here.
  3. You will receive a Volunteer Central Account Activation email. Please avoid your email going into your spam folder by making sure that missiondc.org and wildapricot.org are listed on your trusted sender list.
*You must be at least 18 years old to set up an account on Volunteer Central.

*Register as an individual for one volunteer; any number larger than one is a group registration.

Individuals

  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • Click View Event Calendar below to view events and register.
  • Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the specifics of your event.

Groups

    • To enhance the volunteer experience, we strongly recommend that groups include a maximum of 10 volunteers per selected service, or up to 15 volunteers with chaperones.
    • Minor-age volunteers, 12-17 years old, must be accompanied by an adult. Children must be at least 12 years old to serve or be admitted into the Mission. For a group, there must be one adult chaperone for every four minor age (12-17) volunteers.
    • Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to register.

    • Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the specifics of your event

IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the Group Leader to ensure that all Group Members have read and understand the Volunteer Terms Agreement and the Volunteer Guidelines.
